Setauket Elementary School 7th Annual Science Fair
The Setauket Elementary School Science Fair will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the big gym. All K-5 students are invited to present a project and join us for some science fun. Last year we had over 100 participants representing a wide range of science-related projects.
- Visit all the student projects in the areas of life science, chemistry, natural science and more.
- Carry out hands on experiments with scientists from Stony Brook University.
- Observe demonstrations performed by the Science Olympiad Team from Gelinas Middle School.
- Browse science-related books and crafts that will be available for sale. Cash or checks accepted.
Displays should be set up on Thursday, April 29 between 5:00 and 6:00pm. A science fair committee member will help you find your designated place. All projects must be taken home the evening of the fair. All projects should fit in an area of ~1.5 by 4 ft. If you have any questions, please contact Christine DiFede or Nicole Sampson.
